In 1886, the W. I. Blystone Mattress Company was established in Jamestown, marking the beginning of a legacy in the bedding industry. In 1981, the Pullan family acquired the company and renamed it Jamestown Mattress. With their vision and dedication, Jamestown Mattress grew from a small operation with three employees and five product lines to become one of the largest independent bedding manufacturers in the northeast.

Today, Jamestown Mattress boasts 38 employees, over 40 diverse bedding lines, and nine stores across Pennsylvania and New York. The company also serves as a trusted wholesale supplier, providing private label mattresses, college dormitory bedding, and quilting mattress kits to other retailers and manufacturers.
